Fun Tip #127 and How-to-Look-Cool-When-You're-Not Tip #58

Fun Tip #127
Go find a book that has a nice cover. It can't be a classic or re-publication. It just dosen't work. Chick Lit is best. The cover has to have the matte cover with a nice hazy smooth cover (not like textbook cover material). Then look fot the title that is usually in a bright colour. The words of the title have a certain film of thin plastic material on top. Check behind the cover page, they should not be any imprints like Clancys or Grishams with the san-seriff fonts.
Found it yet?
Ok. Good. Now run the top of your fingers across the cover. Then you will really feel the beauty of the cover. The parts with the hazy smooth background lets your finger slide across quickly. But the parts with the plastic material; the title text. Ooo, its like your finger is travelling through quicksand. Not grainy, mucky, dullish quicksand. But smooth, light, bright metallic sheen. Its preety nice and relaxing to have that change in texture.

The Cool Tip
So I groggily walked into classroom on Tuesday and saw Clement with his PT kit on the table. Was there PE that day? No. But I wasn't thinking straight at that time and was ready to face Ho's squatsor gasp.. topless PE. Tought situation where you need the facts fast? 'So See Kiat will be missing PE tomorrow huh?' And that brought up a remark of ' Oh ya, PE tomorrow.' And then people will start issuing false pity for See Kiat and black shirts. So instead of looking like the oblivious fool, turn the tables and start up a lively round of conversation in the early morning.

A Funny Dream

Ok. Some of you might find this weird. But this is the first dream I remember so clearly and vividly. So here goes.
O hold on a minute, you might need some background information first. I had just finished flag day at Orchard earlier that day. And I was sleeping somewhere different. I was on the sofa in my room. See if this helps to connect the dots somehow.

I was walking into a long corridoor. On the two sides, were frosted glass with some expensive looking designer furniture behind them. The corridoor led into a big circular hall with the same frosted glass displays and the same furniture too. There was this big cylindrical frosted glass display... thing. So it kind of formed a long path around the centre display in a loop. I walked around the loop in one direction and then I turned and faced the centre display. I think I saw a large world globe rotating. Then the lights dimmed down and I cold hardly see anything. As my pupils enlarged to let more light in by relaxing the circular muscles of the iris and relaxing the radial muscles of the iris(see you revise bio if you visit this blog, I saw some steps that led into the the centre display. I steped into the dipaly and saw the outline of the globe. Then LEDs started blinking and it was like a cheap exhibit form the Science Centre circa 1980s. Then I wallked closer and there was a seat under the globe. It was a roller coaster seat with a handlebar at the top. I sat myself in and the bar came down. I held onto the bars tightly, anticipating the wild ride that was coming. I lurched foward. Suddenly two men dressed in suits strode towards the centre display and each grabbed one of my hands. They were trying to throw me off whatever I was on. At this time, I was conciously unconcious. It like that type of feeling where you're in a comma, you can't move, but you can see everyone else talking to you. And your eyes are shut. So I tired opening my eyes, but the stuggle between the two men and I seemed to grow more intense when I tried harder to open my eyes. Then I woke up with my hands pressed on the sofa.
